Claire Boucher, born March 17th 1988, better known as Grimes, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is also self taught in music and visual art. Under the Grimes moniker, she has released two albums under Arbutus Records, (Geidi Primes – Jan. 2010, and Halfaxa- Sep. 2010), and two more under 4AD, (Visions – 2012, and Art Angels – 2015).
